We were all sitting around this picnic table, and a couple of the other band members at our camp come up to us and are like, “Do you want this seran wrap? We had too much and don’t know what to do with it.”
So of course, we take the seran wrap. We’re smart right? We’ll find something to do with it. So we did.
We took our friend who plays trumpet, and seran wrapped him to the picnic table. Legitimately /to the table/. It was so funny.
It was even funnier when we found out later that our band director saw the whole thing go down xD

Thats the same in my band! It’s just that there are so many woodwind players it almost cancels out. I myself am a percussionist though.
My freshman year, it was drilled into my head that no matter what, I was to get to my spot on the field at competitions. Even if there was a judge in my way. I was told that if it came to it, I was supposed to march right through them as if they were not there. I figured that this was just a joke and that the judges would never be in my way at competition. However, at state my sophomore year, there was a judge standing exactly in my spot in the last movement. So, I marched right into him…and he fell over. I didn’t even flinch. After we got off the field, I got a round of applause for staying at attention throughout . And when we listened to the tapes, we got to hear him fall. When he got up, he commended me for not ruining the form. :)
That’s my story. My proudest marching band moment.
